Bird Watching
Country Campin’ has been a family
owned property for 6 generations. We pride ourselves on our
natural habitat along the banks of Owl Creek. For 5 generations
this was a family farm/ranch operation and nature has flourished
in this quiet setting.
This is a new area of interest for many of our RV and Camping
enthusiasts and for us at Country Campin’. Stay, take pictures,
and identify the species of birds at our park. Whether an expert
birder or a
novice, all are
welcome to join us for a summer of fun-filled bird watching!
You can help us
build our 2007 photo collection!
Birds commonly seen
in the Big Horn Basin area are, but are not limited to: Ducks,
Wild Turkeys, Goldeneye, Eagles, Hawks, Pheasant, Grouse,
Cranes, Sandpipers, Gulls, Cuckoos, Owls, Nighthawks,
Hummingbirds, Woodpeckers, Jays, Magpies, Wrens, Bluebirds,
Thrashers, Starlings, Warblers, Grosbeaks, Blackbirds, and many
species of the Finch.
